We provide pressure treated wood shims for leveling only. If you want the building elevated from ground level, you need to provide blocking. We recommend a 4" thick solid concrete block. The best size is 4"x16"x8". At any case, it needs to be 4" thick and solid concrete. This block shows on Home Depot's website but not all stores carry it.
Most portable building dimensions don't include the eves. In fact, most building's advertised size includes wall to wall. This means corner trim, door handles and hardware are not included. For example, a 12x16 building can actually be 12'2" wall to wall and 13'2" eve to eve. We need a minimum of 6" clearance from existing structures / trees ETC. This clearance requirement is due to the possibility of un even ground, which is all that is needed to make the delivery not possible.
The short answer is yes, leveling is included in delivery. However, leveling and elevating is 2 different things. Some customers prefer not to have wood to ground contact. This is understandable. However, most portable buildings have pressure treated wood on skids / under floors. This material is the same material that ranchers use to build fence with. In their case, the wood gets buried in the ground. In our case, we're merely setting the building on your pad so in theory, the wood should last many years, if not a lifetime. So to be clear, if your preference is elevation, we can provide this service for a fee and you need to provide the necessary blocking.
You can pay for delivery service with cash, check, or credit card. We do however, have a max amount for cash payments. We cannot accept payments over $500.00 in cash.
The office will reach out to you either by phone call or text message to suggest a date and time. The office will confirm your appointment the business day prior to delivery. On the day of delivery, the driver will reach out by phone call or text to give you an ETA.
We have trailers and mules designed specifically for shed delivery. If we are not able to access the delivery site with our truck and trailer, we can use our shed mule to pull the building to its desired spot. There are however, limitations regarding how far a building can be muled or the terrain the mule can handle. We recommend sending pictures of your situation to help us determine what it will take to successfully get your building in place.
